Hi All:
We are closing the office at this time due to the fire conditions. Please depart the office if you haven’t already. Be safe and take care.

Subject: Escondido campus update – Thursday morning

Hello All:
I wanted to provide a brief update on the office situation and the outlook. The office is open with a limited team and is in good shape. We do have a full T4T of customers in this week, and Alan Youngblood and John Hester are here and preparing to lead today’s session as long as the situation remains safe – they are in great spirits and ready to dive in – amazing……

The fire situation will continue to be a threat today due to extremely high temperatures, however, the wind conditions are expected to improve. Unfortunately, the San Marcos fire continues to be the most concerning and is the closest to the office. We will monitor the fire situation closely and will communicate any major change in the situation as needed.

Our prayers continue to go out to the many people that have been evacuated, and we are thankful for the incredible firefighting efforts that made progress through the night and will continue to battle throughout the day.

All the best,

Dear Escondido-based Blanchard Associates:
I hope that everyone in the San Diego area is safe and has a place to sleep during these unnerving and unpredictable fires. Given the challenges that many of us will encounter due to difficult/dangerous commutes or need for child care due to school closings, we will be encouraging associates to work from home on Thursday. Please stay at your home if you can, and be in touch with your work associates and manager via phone and email.

At this point, we plan to open the office Thursday morning, with limited staff for those that can safely make it in, unless conditions deteriorate further. The office will also serve as a refuge/shelter for those who have had to evacuate and would like a place to go during the day if Escondido is safe. As Jim mentions below, be on the lookout for further communications as we get more information on Thursday morning. I’m copying all Blanchard associates so that everyone is aware of the potential service challenges we will be facing on Thursday.

Please take care and be safe. Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, and please contact us if we can be of help if you are dealing with evacuation issues or any losses to your home or property.

Warm regards and prayers to all,

First and foremost, we hope that everyone is safe from these current fire storms.

I’d like to report that our Escondido campus has not been damaged from the fires. We’re hopeful that the fires will be more controlled overnight and at this point we will be open for business in the morning.

Be on the lookout for further communications and updates regarding any changes to our Escondido campus schedule.
